Application range of our rotary transfer machine (All rotary transfer machines are designed according to specific work piece processing requirements):
Metal component machining for industries such as gas appliances, plumbing, and bathroom fixtures.
Decriptions of our rotary transfer machine:
Our customized rotary transfer machine is a highly versatile and automated manufacturing device designed according to specific work piece processing requirements, in order to efficiently perform a wide range of machining operations on various workpieces. It combines the capabilities of multiple machine tools into a single, integrated system, which is an advanced solution for mass production of complex components, as it can perform a variety of operations such as drilling, milling, turning, tapping, and more, all within a single setup.
Key components and features of our rotary transfer machine:
-Rotary Indexing Table: At the core of the rotary transfer machine is a circular indexing table that holds and positions multiple workpieces. This table rotates in defined increments to move the workpieces from one machining station to another.
-Machining Stations: Positioned around the rotary indexing table are multiple machining stations, each equipped with specialized tools and fixtures for specific machining operations. These stations may include drilling heads, milling cutters, turning tools, and other tooling setups.
-Tool Changers: Automatic tool changers are integrated into each machining station to swiftly replace tools as the workpiece progresses through the different operations. This minimizes downtime and ensures continuous production.
-Fixturing and Clamping: The workpieces are securely held and aligned using custom fixtures and clamps at each machining station. This ensures precision and consistency in the machining process.
-Control System: A sophisticated computerized control system manages the entire operation of the rotary transfer machine. It coordinates the movement of the indexing table, tool changes, spindle speeds, feed rates, and other variables.
-Safety Features: Rotary transfer machines are equipped with safety measures such as interlocks, guards, and emergency stop buttons to ensure the protection of operators and prevent accidents.
Working Principle:
--Workpiece Loading: The operator loads raw workpieces onto the rotary indexing table at the loading station.
--Indexing and Machining: The indexing table rotates to position each workpiece at the first machining station. The machining operations are performed simultaneously or sequentially by the tools at that station.
--Progressive Transfer: After completing the operations at a station, the indexing table rotates again, transferring the workpiece to the next machining station. This process continues until all required operations are executed.
--Unloading: Once all machining operations are completed, the finished workpieces are moved to the unloading station for removal by the operator or for further processing.
